Levi Strauss & Co. partners with Microsoft to create a next-gen AI superagent designed to enhance operations, improve efficiency, and modernize workflows.
Levi Strauss & Co. and Microsoft Corp. are highlighting their mutual vision for the future of retail, driven by cloud innovation and artificial intelligence.
This partnership demonstrates LS&Co’s dedication to leveraging Microsoft technologies to promote enhanced and better customer experiences worldwide while simultaneously boosting corporate staff productivity.
Levi Strauss & Co., a nearly 175-year-old global dealer in denim and apparel, is adopting cutting-edge technologies like Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, and agentic AI orchestration to hasten its transformation into a fan-focused, best-in-class company.
The most recent example is a brand-new Azure-native orchestrator agent that is integrated into Microsoft Teams to support employee empowerment and operational efficiency in corporate, retail, and warehouse settings.
Employees can ask queries through the orchestrator agent, and any number of behind-the-scenes agents can respond, all of which are filtered through a single conversational “superagent.”
Jason Gowans, Chief Digital and Technology Officer, Levis Strauss & Co. said,
“AI sits at the center of that pivot — fueling innovation, elevating employee creativity, unlocking productivity and helping us deliver the connected, memorable experiences that keep our fans returning again and again.”
A network of interconnected and integrated subagents, some of which have already been deployed and others of which are still in development, will be managed by the LS&Co. superagent. At LS&Co, transformation is driven by several solutions, including these subagents.
To manage increasingly complicated workloads and fully utilize AI, LS&Co. is also implementing Microsoft Surface Copilot+ PCs running Windows 11. Workers claim that the gadgets and operating system have significantly improved speed, dependability, and data handling. Features like the Copilot key enable staff to spend less time looking and more time working.
