ChatGPT Ads reportedly adds a tool that can generate ad variations from a brand’s website and campaign settings.
ChatGPT Ads has reportedly added an option that lets advertisers generate ad drafts from their brand website and campaign settings.
According to Search Engine Land, the option appears under “Add new ad” and reads “generate ads for you.” Advertisers can then review, edit and approve the ad before activating it.
The reported feature suggests OpenAI is extending ChatGPT Ads beyond campaign setup and ad delivery into creative generation.
A screenshot shared by advertiser Anthony Higman shows the platform presenting an ad variation generated from a website and campaign settings, followed by a “Review and create” button.
Another reported update shows a quick duplicate ad option, pointing to broader creative editing tools inside the ChatGPT Ads interface.
OpenAI has not publicly confirmed the feature or shared details on how it works.
If rolled out more widely, the tool would bring ChatGPT Ads closer to other self-serve ad platforms where AI is already used to create headlines, descriptions and campaign variations.
The move would also reduce friction for advertisers by helping them produce creative without leaving the platform.
For OpenAI, automated ad drafting could support faster campaign creation as ChatGPT Ads continues to develop into a fuller advertising system.
