Mastercard Advances Commercial Payments With AI B2B Analytics

Mastercard has launched Mastercard Advanced B2B Analytics, an AI-powered platform designed to give issuers and corporates deeper visibility into supplier payments.

The platform helps financial institutions identify where commercial cards can deliver more value, while helping corporate clients optimize working capital and supplier engagement.

Supplier Payments Get More Data-Driven

Mastercard said many banks and corporate buyers still rely on fragmented data and manual processes when evaluating supplier payment opportunities.

Advanced B2B Analytics is built to solve that gap by turning accounts payable data into actionable insights. The platform uses AI-powered acceptance propensity scoring to identify suppliers most likely to accept card payments.

Issuers can also use interactive dashboards, analytics and Mastercard’s advisory support to prioritize outreach, improve supplier engagement and scale commercial card adoption.

For corporates, the platform offers greater visibility into payment flows, helping teams reduce inefficiencies and make better working capital decisions.

Absa Group and Emirates NBD are among the first financial institutions to offer the solution to corporate clients.

The launch also supports Mastercard’s broader push to embed data, analytics and AI across the commercial payments lifecycle.

For B2B payments, the signal is clear: supplier payment optimization is becoming less manual and more intelligence-led. As companies look for better control over cash flow, analytics will play a larger role in deciding which suppliers to pay by card, where to prioritize virtual card adoption and how to measure payment impact.
