Bridgeline Digital has signed a U.S.-based industrial bearing distributor to use HawkSearch for product discovery within its BigCommerce eCommerce platform.

The customer serves B2B and B2C buyers searching for industrial bearings and motion-control components. The deal moved from lead to signed agreement in 21 days and followed a competitive review of multiple providers.

Focus on Technical Product Search

The distributor manages a highly technical catalog where buyers often search by part numbers, dimensions and varied product formats.

HawkSearch will address issues such as unit-of-measure inconsistencies, SKU and part-number accuracy, and product and technical content discovery.

The deployment will also include HawkSearch’s Search Assistant, designed to support more intuitive and conversational product discovery.

Bridgeline said HawkSearch performed well across real-world search scenarios during the evaluation, helping validate its fit for technical B2B commerce environments.

The win reflects growing demand for AI-powered search tools in industrial eCommerce, where accurate product discovery can directly affect purchasing speed, customer experience and conversion.
