Samsung to Supply AI Home Solutions for Philippines Mixed-Use Complex

Samsung Electronics has signed an agreement with real estate developer DH Plus to supply AI home and building operation solutions for the Gran츠 Forest Park project in Cebu, Philippines.

The partnership will bring Samsung AI appliances, SmartThings Pro and b.IoT into a mixed-use development that includes residential, hotel, commercial and community facilities.

Under the agreement, Samsung will help build customized AI home environments for residential spaces. TVs, air conditioners, refrigerators and washing machines will be connected through SmartThings, allowing residents and guests to control in-room devices through a single login.

For building operators, SmartThings Pro will support remote equipment monitoring and facility management, helping reduce the need for on-site checks.

Samsung will also apply its b.IoT building solution to manage infrastructure such as HVAC, lighting, power equipment, hot-water systems, boilers, community facilities and swimming pools.

The system is designed to improve operational efficiency through energy algorithms and connect with SmartThings Pro to analyze household electricity use and charges.

Samsung also plans to use digital twin technology to render buildings in 3D, monitor major equipment and predict maintenance timing.

For Samsung, the agreement strengthens its push into Southeast Asia’s B2B building and residential solutions market.

The deal reflects a broader shift in real estate development, where smart home technology, building automation and energy management are becoming part of the core infrastructure for premium mixed-use projects.
