Three of the biggest cybersecurity firms released new products to assist businesses safeguard their AI workloads.
A firewall appliance designed for AI applications was introduced by Fortinet Inc. In response, SentinelOne Inc. and CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. released new AI capabilities aimed at increasing the efficiency of cybersecurity teams.
Businesses can utilize Fortinet’s software to identify infrastructure vulnerabilities, prevent bots from accessing publically accessible applications, and carry out related duties.
Additionally, the company offers a range of physical firewall appliances. The company added a new firewall system called the FortiGate 3800G to its lineup as a part of product release.
The NP7 and SP5 custom chips power the device. Fortinet claims that it can examine 800 gigabits per second of network traffic for vulnerabilities. Additionally, the firewall has a virtual private network capability that lets employees access corporate apps from a distance. 210 gigabits of VPN traffic may be processed per second by a single FortiGate 3800G.
“AI data centers demand both massive performance and deep protection,”
said Nirav Shah, Fortinet’s Senior Vice President of products and solutions.
“Our Secure AI Data Center solution unifies those capabilities, combining ASIC-powered firewalls like the FortiGate 3800G with advanced protection for data, applications and LLMs.”
SentinelOne is hosting its yearly OneCon conference in Las Vegas. During the event, the company unveiled a number of new products, including a set of four cybersecurity solutions with an emphasis on AI applications.
Additionally, CrowdStrike is expanding the range of AI features it offers. Recently, the business unveiled Charlotte Agentic SOAR, a new solution for cybersecurity automation workflows made up of several AI agents. For instance, an administrator could design a procedure that identifies server breaches and cuts off the impacted computers from the company network.
Additionally, CrowdStrike announced a collaboration with CoreWeave Inc., the provider of an AI-optimized cloud platform. The partnership will facilitate joint customers’ use of CrowdStrike’s technologies to safeguard their CoreWeave-hosted workloads.
