Constructor launches Stripe-powered Agentic Checkout, letting shoppers move from product discovery to payment inside one AI experience.
Constructor has launched Agentic Checkout, a Stripe-integrated commerce tool designed to let shoppers move from product discovery to payment without leaving an AI agent experience.
The new capability connects Constructor’s conversational product discovery technology with Stripe’s payment infrastructure, allowing shoppers to ask questions, receive recommendations, narrow their choices and complete purchases in the same interface.
Constructor said Agentic Checkout is available globally and is already built into its AI Shopping Agent and AI Product Insights Agent.
Shoppers can pay through Link by Stripe or other supported payment methods directly within the agent flow. Constructor says it is the first company to offer Stripe-powered checkout inside an onsite shopping agent.
The launch addresses a key limitation in agentic commerce. Many AI shopping tools can recommend products but still send shoppers into a traditional checkout process. Constructor’s approach keeps discovery, decision-making and payment connected.
For retailers, that could reduce friction at the point where purchase intent is highest. Constructor also says adoption of its AI agents has increased 900% over the past year.
The broader shift is clear: AI shopping is moving beyond recommendation into transaction execution.
As agents gain the ability to search, compare and buy within one conversation, the competitive advantage for retailers may increasingly depend on how easily their catalogs, checkout systems and payment infrastructure can work with AI agents.
