Visa teamed up with TECH5 to accelerate global adoption of digital public infrastructure through identity and payment solutions.
Visa has partnered with TECH5, a global leader in biometric and digital identity solutions, in a long-term collaboration to speed up DPI adoption worldwide.
Visa and TECH5 have unveiled a seven-year partnership in Dubai, UAE, combining their expertise to help governments and institutions develop secure and inclusive digital ecosystems.
As part of the collaboration, Visa will integrate its global digital payment technologies with TECH5’s advanced biometric, identity management, and trust infrastructure solutions. The partnership will also explore digital identity wallets with built-in payment features to enhance interoperability and scalability across different markets.
Visa, renowned for its global payment network that supports digital transactions across more than 200 countries and territories, will bring strategic support to the initiative. This includes helping TECH5 connect with financial institutions, advising on business development strategies, and funding collaborative projects.
TECH5, a specialist in biometric authentication and digital identity management, will deliver the core identity infrastructure, offering solutions that ensure security, scalability, and compliance with diverse regulatory requirements.
Together, the two companies will establish a joint business development and marketing framework to guide the partnership, with a strong focus on interoperability, inclusivity, and building trust in digital infrastructure.
